Sometimes traveling doesn't go as planned. Thailand was definitely one of those trips. Lesson learned...NEVER book a trip via traveling agency. Particularly one that starts with T and ends with I.
The nightmare began when we boarded on a plane and got sited in the middle of a screaming baby orchestra. It came from all sides and angels, when one gave up another one started. The flight was extremely long and uncomfortable and no food was included. More misfortune followed in Thailand, with a serious cold, injured leg and other health problems. I began to wonder if this is how traveling looks like in your thirties. My conclusion now, after one year has passed, is that I would probably think twice before traveling in February again. Flu season is peaking this time of the year and airplanes turn into sandbox of viruses.
There were parts of this trip that were undeniably beautiful. It's hard to ignore how gorgeous nature is in Phuket.
