Mexico

It's been a year since my last post. I would like to say that I needed a creative break or that I went through existential crisis but that's BS...I was just lazy.

Now let's focus on Mexico! Or more specifically Yucatan peninsula.

We landed in Cancun and headed out to Playa del Carmen. The bus ride was comfortable and I would highly recommend traveling around this part of Mexico with buses.

Best places to eat: La Cueva del ChangoEl Fogon <3

Second stop was Tulum. My happy place. It was love at first sight and food bite. We stayed at Sueños Tulum, which was build by two artists and made for total relaxation.

Our Tulum trip looked something like this...get up, eat, go to the beach, read, swim, eat, swim, read, shower, eat, sleep. Repeat.

Tulum is famous for its good food. Couple of places that I would recommend are: Casa BananaCharly's vegan tacosHartwood

The last day we decided to face the heat and crawled to Zona Arqueológica de Tulum. It's is a pretty special place, definitely worth the visit.

The perfect ending of this trip was a turbo sightseeing tour. The plan was to rent a car for a day and visit all major monuments and wonders of the world in the area.

Coba
It's a bike ride away from the parking space and unlike many other Mayan pyramids you can still climb on this one.
