First part: Bali, Indonesia
Kuta was the first place to stay. You can
see that Kuta is living and breathing tourism. It was where I learned
how to surf. Waves there are beginners friendly but it can get a little crowded in the water. For me that was the time I drank the most salty water in my life.
Traveling around Kuta is the easiest
with scooter or some kinds of motor vehicle. Narrow streets and crowded places are not really meant for cars. You can still see there was a little fishing
village back in the days and is now polluted with
tourist.
Movie as well as the book "Eat Pray Love" takes place in
Bali. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of it, you can see why would people go to Bali in their journey to find themselves.

Second part: Lombok
& Gili islands
After spending some time on Bali we took an
old and smelly ferry to the Lombok island.
Smelly ferry |
You get surprised when you come
to Lombok because everything is so pure and I would Lombok "an unspoiled Bali". Tourism haven’t strike it in
a way as it's visual on Bali.
Lombok beach |
There is still possible to enjoy empty beaches with clear blue water... ah, paradise. Since we were limited
with time we weren't able to see waterfalls and volcano, but by the first impression of Lombok I would guess it's beautiful. And if that's not enough, there are always some local people that would be glad to peal a pineapple for you right there on the beach for a small change. People were
generally nice, but maybe a bit more shy than on Bali.

For the cherry on the top we also
visited Gili islands, which are beautiful. Gili islands include 3
islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno and all of them have nice beaches,
sea and a lot of places for scuba diving.

Third part: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We stayed in Kuala Lumpor for
two days and I hope I will have a chance to go there again someday. So for now I will just combine
some of the nicest pictures and hopefully I will be able to write more about
Kuala Lumpor and Malaysia in the future.
