I finally made it to Paris and I have to say, it was worth waiting. I guess seeing a new city can be compared to meeting a new person. Some tend to impress you right away while others don't really leave a mark in your life. I definitely enjoyed Paris and after surviving a winter in Sweden it was just what I needed.

Just a couple of worth noting bullet points:
I have to share a story of how my friend bought a Chanel bag. Some people might think that's a piece of cake, but it's actually a whole operation. First we tried with a shopping mall. There was a line outside the store, which was funny in the beginning but I admit I got a bit grumpy at some point. After my first in a lifetime store queuing we got in and of course the bag was sold out. Apparently it's highly desired product in Asia and you need to be there early in the morning to get it. We couldn't even get the information where to find it because firstly it might be sold out by the time we get there and secondly they didn't really bother with us when five other people were already breathing behind our necks eager to get their first Chanel. Long story short we got the bag in the end. They got me boozed up with champagne in the last store and both, me and my friend walked out happy.
Going to Paris in spring when even birds are singing the song of love will make you fall in love in something, if nothing else in the city itself. I share an unconditional love for croissants, so visiting Paris was definitely a peak of this love story.

One of the reasons I enjoyed the city so much is due to a Bistro culture. I love sitting outside, sipping wine, eating dinner and watching people passing by.
After trying many delicious dishes that weekend, it was time for snails. The taste is similar to clams and to be honest snails aren't the worst food I've ever tasted, but I don't really feel the need to ever do it again.
- Paris: Bookstore cute as a button
For all “Before sunset” movie fans there is a Shakespeare and company bookstore close to Notre Dame church and it's one of the cutest little bookstores I've ever seen. It's packed with books and the vibe is really relaxing with people playing guitar, dogs chilling on the top floor and little hidden corners where you can sit for hours and thumb through a book. I'm quite sure one girl was sleeping on a pile of books and she fit perfectly to the environment.
