Portugal
This was my first time to Portugal, Lisbon to be exact. It was a surprise birthday trip and since my birthday is in the middle of a gloomy November, any ray of sun was much appreciated.
We didn't get too spoiled with the sun, but food there was definitely worth the visit. My personal favorite places to eat are:
Bonsai restaurant
During the short stay we also discovered some fun hangout places:
Tasca Do Chico - popular place with the local fado music...amazing experience!
And then there were some obligatory tourist attractions:
Carmo Convent
Arco da Rua Augusta

Parodia bar - You have to ring the bell to get inside. Try out one of their amazing gin&tonics once you're in
By the Wine - creative wine bar where you have to try Vinho Verde (green wine)
LxFactory - it was pouring rain when we were there, but I can imagine it's a great place to hangout on a sunny day. We ended up reading in Ler Devagar book store which was super cozy
R. Nova do Carvalho - let the pink road guide you from bar to bar
