Happiness

Happiness is not in new clothes or the newest iPhone. Thinking back when I was the happiest it actually has nothing to do with bags, shoes, computers or the phones that I bought. What really makes me happy is thinking back on my trips. As I mentioned in my previous post about Turkey…it brings a smile on my face. I feel the same way thinking about Netherlands in April, Croatia in summer or any trip from 5 years ago. Therefore for me the true happiness is in moments…those stupid, crazy, scary, funny moments that we all have in our lives and that can lighten up your day if your computer crashes or you drop your phone in the toilet and on top of that ruin your shoes in the rain. Happiness doesn’t necessarily have to be connected with traveling abroad because you can experience unforgettable moments anywhere. But mix together traveling, friends or any person that makes you happy and voilà there is a recipe for a good time. One of my happiest moments this year was the time I was laughing with tears in my eyes with my closest friends in the middle of nowhere in Croatia.

So there it is…go on an epic vacation with your friends and you will never forget those LOL moments with them and that’s what happiness is all about. By the way I hate LOL, ROFL, epic and all of that unnecessary internet slang…it has nothing to do with this post but I just felt it had to be said.
