Sweden
Darkness has hit Sweden again and I'm already starting
to smell the cold…winter is coming. Every year I get a little stressed out
around this time because it reminds me how much I hated it the year before and
that it's far from ending.
I hate the feeling when you almost don't want to
breathe because you are risking the cold air entering your system. I hate when
you forget to put on one of urgent three winter equipments (scarf,
glows and cap) and then the other two won't matter because you are only
focusing on the part of your body that is freezing anyway. I hate when you need
to plan outside activities to the minimal possible time. Even the trip to bus station is planed so you're there just in time, not five minutes too early
and what is worse five minutes too late. I hate all the slips and near death
experiences because you're covered in wool which makes it hard to pay attention
to people, bikes and cars around.
Needless to say I’m not a winter person so winter
please be kind this year. The reality is that I live in a country which is famous
for being cold and Abba. However you can mute Abba, but you can never ignore
the cold.
Apart from the cold and Abba, Sweden is a wonderful
country and great place to live in. Read more about it here.
